Uzbek rose Dumplings workshop
October 15, 2022
Let’s get together and get hands on to make unique dumplings from Uzbekistan. Making dumplings is one of the most recreational activities to practice mindfulness, skill and careful listening while doing it in the company of others.
October 15th, Saturday afternoon you will be shaping Uzbek rose dumplings with a Georgian twist and have Central Asian chicory salad aside with out Host, Nil.
You will of course take advantage of great fall weather with local delicious autumn fruit, pumpkins in dumplings.
For drinks you will be offered by Nil’s mom’s recipe of refreshing purple basil cold tea.
Autumn is peaking at us and brings with it a message of ripening, harvest and abundance. By sharing different culinary offerings, you learn not only about new foods but delve into their history and their context, emphasizing interesting points of intersection between cultures.
Togetherness, coziness and unity are always shared when dumplings or mantı are served and eaten around the table.
It reminds Nil of her mom and my brother, where we used to gather around a table and roll out the dough every Sunday.
Come join Nil Duru from Global Seasons for a culinary journey where different corners of the world come together for a feast.
