Chai, Chaat and Chit-Chat

After  the success of her first experience, home chef Jyoti is all set to create another unique experience for you. This time, she will take you to not just a culinary trail of India, but introduce you to an everyday culture of her homeland – Chai, Chat, Chit-Chat.

To break down the title, Chai stands for Indian chai, Chaat stands for street food and chit-chat is what every Indian loves, i.e. chatting over tea time 🙂

Come and experience this beautiful feeling on Indian hospitality that is elevated during tea time and taste dishes you probably wouldn’t have tasted!

On the Menu:

1. Masala Chai: A fragrant and spiced Indian tea made by brewing black tea with aromatic spices like cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves, combined with milk and sweetened to taste, offering a comforting and invigorating beverage experience.
2. Kutchi Dabeli: A flavorful street food from the Kutch region of Western India, featuring a spicy potato mixture sandwiched between sweet and tangy buns, garnished with peanuts and pomegranate seeds.
3. Benarasi Raj-Kachori Chaat: A regal and indulgent chaat from Varanasi, consisting of a crispy, hollow pastry shell filled with a variety of savory and tangy toppings like yogurt, chutneys, sprouts, potatoes and spices.
4. Kolkata Puchka: Also known as Golgappa or Pani Puri, this popular street snack from Kolkata consists of crispy hollow balls filled with a spicy and tangy mixture of tamarind water, chickpeas, potatoes, and spices.
5. Paan Shot: A unique and refreshing drink inspired by the traditional Indian after-meal digestive, paan. It combines the flavors of betel leaves, sweetened syrup, and various aromatic spices, served in a shot glass for a flavorful and exotic post-dinner experience.
