The best kind of people are those who love to cook for others and share their love for cooking with everyone. Shuchita is one such person, she comes from India and has been living in Amsterdam since a year and loves to cook for friends. She has a real passion to cook for friends and trying new things in her kitchen.

Join Shuchita as she opens up her home to give you an undiscovered Taste of India through her home kitchen.

We start at 2 PM, get to know each other and the host, Shuchita and start eating together by 2.30PM. You will be served a 3 course Lunch.

Starters – Thekua (Baked) with Chai

MAINS – The most loved food of Bihar (Litti Chokha)

Litti – Balls made of wheat flour, stuffed with Sattu(Roasted chickpea powder), and slow cooked in a traditional gas oven

Chokha – The goodness of smoked flavors of potatoes, eggplant, toamtoes and garlic, spiced with green chillies

Daal – Lentils cooked in Indian style

Accompanied with different Chutneys and Chaach(a drink made with yoghurt)

DESSERT:

A very special dessert – Malpua with Rabri. Malpua is an indian delicacy, made using a special technique of frying a dough batter in ghee and then dipping it in a sugar and cardamom syrup. Shuchita will serve the Malpua with Rabri ( milk cooked for a very time to make it into a thick consistency)

As Always, the vibe is going to be very homely, gezellig and you will go back with memories of food and conversations 🙂
