As part of Surmeyi’s travelling “With Love” series — journeying from United States to London to Amsterdam — we invite you into an intimate evening celebrating identity, creativity, culture, humour and community.

For one special evening, four South Asian women from different creative worlds come together to share stories, conversations, laughter, craft and food in the warm space of Fifth Origins.

The evening features:

Rashi Agarwal
with a stand-up comedy set exploring diaspora life, identity, family, stereotypes and the wonderfully chaotic realities of navigating cultures.

Manasvi of Surmeyi
sharing the story behind her artisanal jewelry brand rooted in memory, craftsmanship and belonging — travelling all the way from the United States to Amsterdam for this special gathering.

Sindhu of Fifth Origins
whose space brings together thoughtful design, artisanal craftsmanship, and contemporary silhouettes rooted in Indian traditions

Manasi Khanna of Tasty Talks
presenting an immersive Indian grazing table showcasing “Uncurrying Indian Food” project — a celebration of regional flavours, cultural memory and Indian dishes beyond the simplified idea of “curry.”

Expect meaningful conversations, slow moments, beautiful objects, unexpected flavours, humour, nostalgia and the feeling of finding pieces of home in one another.

This is certainly not a formal panel discussion.
It is a gathering – of like minded people who yearn connection, rootedness and being easy at the same time.
A space to listen, connect, laugh, eat and simply spend an evening together.
