Through this experience, we will take you to a culinary and cultural adventure to the state of Himachal Pradesh and the Himalayan artisanal craft cultures.

AGENDA

We will kick off the evening with a glass of wine while we introduce ourselves to you and get to know each of you

We will then dive into storytelling around the brands Charkha & Loom And Tasty Talks and walk you through the evening’s menu, the ideology behind eating local and seasonal produce and embracing local/ artisanal products.

One the Menu, you will get to try some of the most iconic dishes of the mountain regions of India and learn about the culture of the foothills of Himalyas.

THE MENU:

Himachali Siddu- A steamed dumpling, which is very unique in its style of preparation and ingredients, a mountain girl’s favorite
Rajma Madra – Madra is a himachali style gravy/curry made using a yoghurt base. Rajma (kidney beans) are a staple food in the state. Served with rice OR  Channe ka Khatta(Black chickpeas tossed in a tamarind and spice based curry) with Rice.

Meetha Kaddu with Vanilla Icecream – A traditional Himachali pumpkin based dessert – made using the autumnal pumpkin served with Vanilla Icecream
