For the very first time, Tasty Talks is bringing the vibrant flavours of Sri Lanka to Amsterdam with an intimate dining experience hosted by Shehana (Shey), founder of Curry O’Clock.

Shey has been sharing her passion for Sri Lankan cuisine since 2020—through cooking workshops, recipe development, and importing authentic products from her homeland. Now, she invites you to experience a curated four-course feast that celebrates the island’s rich culinary heritage.

The Menu
✨ Amuse – Mini fish cutlet with lime aioli
✨ Starter – Warm coconut roti with a selection of Sri Lankan toppings
✨ Main – Fragrant rice parcel steamed in banana leaf, served with a medley of Sri Lankan curries, crispy papadams, and fried chillies.. Be ready for a lot of food in this medley!! 
✨ Dessert – Pani pol pancakes with traditional watalappan (spiced coconut custard)

Expect bold spices, vibrant flavours, and dishes rooted in tradition yet crafted with love for a modern table.

This is more than a dinner—it’s a journey to Sri Lanka, guided by Shey’s mission to share the beauty and flavours of her culture with the world.

We will also be serving Djamu Djamu at the Event – an iconic herbal drink venture – started by Leidya in Amsterdam.
