Liguria, a crescent-shaped region in northwest Italy. Its Mediterranean coastline is known as the Italian Riviera. The cuisine of Liguria makes use of ingredients coming from the sea as well as game and meat. Ligurian cuisine has transformed over the centuries in relation to the socio-economic situation of the region.

Join our host, Micaela for a delicious 3 course Dinner. She will make your experience authentic home cooked food of Liguria.

On the Menu:

Starter – Focaccia bread and ‘farinata di ceci’ (it’s a simple chickpea pastry)

Main – pasta with Walnut pesto

Dessert will be ‘cavolini with cream’, a traditional dessert made of chox pastries filled with whipped cream 😁

 

Micaela is an Italian expat currently living in Amsterdam. She is a scientist, but her true passion is cooking & eating healthy and delicious food! With her food blog & cooking workshops in Amsterdam, her goal is to boost your confidence and skills in the kitchen to easily cook from home the traditional Italian dishes, along with healthier versions with a vegetarian/vegan twist to nurture your body in the best way.

With Tasty Talks, she has planned a series of evenings where I will cook for you traditional Italian recipes, each event focused on a specific region
