Tasty Talks x Spice Trip With Paulami : An Evening of East & West Indian Flavours
Tasty Talks invites you to an intimate dining experience that celebrates the rich culinary heritage of India — beyond clichés, beyond borders.
For one evening, Paulami Sen, Indian cookbook author and culinary storyteller, joins hands with Manasi, founder of Tasty Talks, to bring you a thoughtfully curated menu that bridges the spice-laced warmth of the West with the delicate nuance of the East.
Together, they cook not just food, but memories — drawing on family recipes, regional ingredients, and stories that rarely make it to restaurant tables.
The Menu:
— Pani Puri & Puchka
Two cities, two versions of the same joy — crisp shells filled with spiced water, chutneys, and nostalgia.
— Oriya Chicken Curry with Maharashtrian Masale Bhaat
A slow-cooked coastal curry, earthy and aromatic, paired with a spice-layered rice from Maharashtra — bold, soulful, and deeply satisfying.
— Luchi with Aamras & Rassedar Aloo
Soft, puffed breads from Bengal with Aamras – a unique mango pulp dish relished across various regions in India during the Mango Season and a gently spiced potato curry — a summer staple, plated with elegance, combined with chutneys
— Ghever with Bhapa Doi
Rajasthan meets Bengal in this decadent finale: the syrup-soaked delicacy of ghever, balanced by the creamy lightness of steamed sweet yogurt.
This is not your typical “Indian dinner.”
It’s an exploration — of contrasts and connections, of lesser-known dishes and timeless techniques, cooked by two women who live and breathe the food they make.
