Join us for an Egyptian Dinner with our hosts Antonio and Irene – a beautiful couple from Egypt who settled here in Netherlands decades back and created a life for themselves. Antonio runs a restaurant in the heart of the city (Pancake Company) and is known for his hospitable demeanor. When asked what he loves about his Wife’s cooking the most, he says – “My wife is a really special Egyptian Cook. She cooks with Love and is so beautiful and smart” 🙂

Both Antonio and Irene have curated a menu for Tasty Talks and will be hosting egyptian evenings with us. On the Menu:

Non – Vegetarian

• Hawawshi – A popular Egyptian Food, particularly in Cairo and Alexandra (where they call it Baladi). It is a pita stuffed with minced meat and spiced with onions, pepper, parsley, and occasionally chilies.
• Kebab Hala- Beef Stew with Rice
• Baklawa and Knafeh served with Egyptian Chai

Vegetarian

• Pasta Alforno/ Macaroni Alforno
• Bamia – Delicious Okra Stew
• Baklawa and Knafeh served with Egyptian Chai
