In partnership with Leticia’s recipes, we present to you a Chilean Wine and Empanadas Tasting.

On this occasion you’ll have a taste of a traditional Sopaipillas (deep fried dough), one of Chile’s most popular street foods, topped with a fresh chancho en piedra,  a very fresh salsa to complement each other, to start….

followed by…

A wine tasting,  sampling FOUR Chilean wines – white, rose, red merlot and the unique carmenere, that grow only in Chile. The wines comes from the award winning vineyard Aromo.

Leticia’s Recipes have carefully paired  these unique wines (not easily found in the Dutch market) with our selection of famous empanadas, you will find something for everybody, from seafood lovers to beef, chicken and vegan/vegetarians.

Something sweet? Yes, how can you not have dessert….. this time honoring Leticia’s Belgian side she will make a fluffy, airy light Callebaut chocolate mousse

Good food, good wine, good times….

This time we are also making our dinner extra special with a quiz about Wines and Chilean poetry and Music . We will have a deck of Questions and little snippets of the Chilean Culture to transport you to the Poets’ land through this experience. The Wine Tasting and Dinner will be held at Macarena’s home garden in Badhoevedorp.

About Leticia and Macarena:

Leticia is  Chilean Chef with more than 28 years of experience. Her career started in Chile, where she opened a restaurant, continued in Scotland, Spain, and Canada where she began an apprenticeship at George Restaurant in Toronto. She moved to Amsterdam two years ago and now she runs her own Chillean Empanadas Business.

Macarena left Chile but her heart always stayed with it’s culture, traditions and above all her favorite food. She settled down in The Netherlands and worked for blue chip companies managing teams in content and CS. A while ago, she decided to follow her passion for food and switched careers 180 degrees to join Leticia as her Business manager.

Together, the two make a terrific pair and an outstanding duo to host culinary events!
