To celebrate the finissage week of Fabienne Francotte’s solo exhibition We Don’t Need to Talk, Tasty Talks & SAC Art Amsterdam come together to host Chai and Conversations – from Serendib.
This marks our fourth collaboration, and as always, we look forward to the energy, exchange, and conversations our guests bring into a shared space of contemporary art and food.
Fabienne currently lives and works in Sri Lanka, and her practice has become quite literally a canvas for her lived experiences on the island and her encounters with its people. Taking this as our starting point, the chai and bites offered during the evening bring our own interpretation of Serendib to the table — layered, sensory, and rooted in South Asian tea-time traditions.
Chai and Conversations, food curated by Tasty Talks and art featured at SAC Art Amsterdam, is an ongoing series that delves into South Asian culture through contemporary art and food, creating space for informal dialogue, tasting, and connection.
