Join us for a very special workshop to learn everything about making Ceviche with our talented host, Mariela.
In this comprehensive workshop, you will learn how to make 3 types of Ceviche with 3 types of ‘Leche De Tigre’.
Leche de tigre is the name for the sour, slightly spicy marinade in which the fish ‘cooks’ and marinates (very) briefly.
A traditional Peruvian ceviche with sea bass marinated with the classic “Leche de tigre” and with a nice spicy touch of the Peruvian “Aji Limo”
This dish will be accompanied with fresh red onions, Peruvian corn, sweet potato and “canchita”Toasted Peruvian corn.
A ceviche with Tuna marinated with a Japanese twist “Leche tigre”. It will be accompanied with red onions, avocado and “canchita” toasted Peruvian corn.
This dish is a magical match between the Japanese and Peruvian cuisine.
The cut of the fish determines the name, “ceviche” is with cubes fish and “tiradito” is with thin slices fish like sashimi style.
This dish will be marinated with passion fruit “Leche de Tigre” and accompanied with red onions.
It’s hands on workshop, in which you will be cooking together with other participants. You will receive the written recipe during the class.
After the workshop, the participants dine together. Feel free to bring you own wine or drinks if you wish to have some with your dinner.
