A Yogic Feast
International Yoga Day | 21 June 2026
Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam
Hosted by Tasty Talks in collaboration with the School of Religion and Theology, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
What truly nourishes us?
Most of us think of nourishment in terms of food. Yet yogic traditions have long understood nourishment as something far broader—embracing movement, breath, awareness, wisdom, relationships, and community.
This International Yoga Day, we invite you to the launch of The Yogic Circle, a new community exploring the deeper traditions of yoga through practice, reflection, food, and connection.
Our first gathering, Nourish, is an invitation to slow down and reconnect. Through yoga, breathwork, meditation, philosophy, and a wholesome shared meal, we will explore how yoga can extend beyond the mat and into everyday life.
Guided by yoga educator and happiness researcher Nuthan Manohar, the morning will gently weave together different dimensions of yogic practice through an immersive and accessible experience suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners.
