Holi Supper Club in Amstelveen β€” A Lucknowi Celebration with Sarika & Richa
1 March 2026 | 1:00 PM | Amstelveen | Limited to 10 guests

Step into the warmth of a traditional North Indian home this Holi as Sarika and Richa β€” both hailing from the culturally rich city of Lucknow β€” open their table for an intimate, joy-filled supper club. Expect vibrant flavors, heartfelt hospitality, and the nostalgic charm of a festival celebrated the Lucknowi way: with food, laughter, and togetherness.

Holi marks the arrival of spring and the triumph of joy over gloom, and what better way to celebrate than over a lovingly prepared meal steeped in tradition?

🌼 Welcome Drinks

  • Kanji β€” A tangy, fermented drink made from black carrots, mustard seeds, and spices. Refreshing, probiotic, and uniquely Holi β€” slightly sour, earthy, and deeply traditional.

  • Thandai β€” The quintessential Holi beverage: chilled milk infused with nuts, seeds, rose, saffron, and aromatic spices. Cooling, rich, and festive. (Prepared using premium thandai masala from our sponsor.)

πŸ› The feast

  • Aloo ki Sabji β€” Comforting potatoes simmered in a lightly spiced gravy, simple yet deeply satisfying β€” a staple of North Indian festive meals.

  • Kaddu ki Khatti Meethi Sabji β€” Pumpkin cooked in a delicate balance of sweet and tangy flavors, tempered with whole spices. A beloved dish in Uttar Pradesh, especially during festive occasions.

  • Dahi Bhalle β€” Soft, fluffy lentil dumplings soaked in chilled yogurt and topped with sweet tamarind chutney, fresh coriander chutney, and a sprinkle of roasted spices.
  • Pani Puri β€” Crisp, hollow puris filled with spiced potatoes and chickpeas, served with chilled tangy mint-tamarind water.
  • Poori β€” Puffy, golden fried breads, crisp outside and soft inside β€” perfect for scooping up the sabjis.

🍬 Festive Sweets & Savories

  • Gujiya β€” The star of Holi sweets: flaky pastry pockets filled with sweetened khoya (milk solids), nuts, and cardamom, then lightly fried. A bite of pure celebration.

  • Namakpaare β€” Crisp, savory diamond-shaped snacks seasoned with salt and spices β€” addictive, crunchy, and perfect for nibbling between sips and conversations.

🌈 A Colorful Touch

To complete the celebration, our sponsor Four Pursuits is providing organic, skin-safe Holi colors β€” so you can enjoy a gentle splash of color in a warm, welcoming setting.

This gathering is intentionally small β€” just 10 guests β€” to recreate the feeling of a festive meal at home, where strangers become friends over shared plates and stories.

Come dressed comfortably, bring your festive spirit, and prepare to welcome spring the Lucknowi way: with color, flavor, and heartfelt hospitality.

We can’t wait to celebrate Holi with you. 🌸
