From Rajasthan to the World
A journey of food, fashion, and cultural roots
Join us for a unique afternoon that celebrates travel, experience, and heritage. In collaboration with Amsterdam-based, women-led brands Charkha and Loom (slow fashion) and Tasty Talks (culinary storytelling), The Wayfarer Soirée invites you to explore the vibrant flavors of Rajasthan—reimagined for the global palate.
This thoughtfully curated gathering brings together indigenous crafts, rooted recipes, and shared stories from across the world, all in an intimate, interactive format.
🌿 THE MENU
Aperitivo – Naashta
Marwari Tapas meets Italian Aperitivo
Our journey begins with a warm welcome—what Rajasthan calls Naashta, a light snack to whet the appetite. These bites are crafted in a European grazing style but deeply rooted in Marwar flavors:
-
Masala Khichdi Arancini
-
Mini Vol-au-vents with lehsun (garlic) chutney-infused cream cheese
-
Spiced Gatte with fennel
-
Assorted Papad Crackers, Chutneys & Dips
A delicious invitation to discover Rajasthan while connecting over conversation, craft, and cuisine.
Mains – Tacos, But Make It Marwari
A Rajasthani traveller in Mexico
Think real corn tortillas hugging fillings inspired by Rajasthan’s iconic street foods:
-
Pyaaz Kachori Tacos
-
Mushroom Ker-Sangri-Masala Tacos
A meeting of two rich culinary worlds—spiced, soulful, unforgettable.
Dessert – Thandai Tartelettes
A sweet goodbye with an ode to Holi flavors—cool, aromatic thandai in a delicate tart shell.
