Diwali, the festival of lights is the biggest festival in North India. Streets lit up with lights of all shapes and color, marigold garlands hanging from gates of homes, women making rangolis to welcome the guests and goddess of wealth in their home, the sound and ravishing display of fireworks, the fragrance of delicious food and home-made sweets, and a verve of celebrating newness with friends and family; is a humble description what Diwali in India looks like.
In a proud collaboration with 29 Spices, Tasty Talks welcomes you to a Taste of Diwali in Amsterdam. Join us for an evening as we celebrate Diwali in the traditional Indian way with a 7 course Delicious Fine Dining Indian Dinner.
Like every Tasty Talks Dinner, this also will have a Taste of Culture along with a Taste of Food.
When you arrive, you will enter a world of Color and Festivity. This time we have an artist performing live, a short Diya painting session and a lot of stories that we will be sharing about Diwali with you.
The Team of 29 spices is putting together a delicious 7 course menu, reimagined to surprise your eyes and tongue.
Without giving away too much about the Menu, we just want to tell you that with every course you will taste a new flavor. The menu is designed to please your taste buds and your eyes.
We see you off with a little ‘Mithai ka Dabba’ (A sweets box), a tradition of Diwali in India.
